for our daughter

One letter every birthday. You can open them all when you're eighteen.

We forget too fast

The first year went by in about four minutes. So every birthday we sit down, separately, and write to Noor about who she is right now: what she loves, what she says, what scared us and what made us laugh.

The letters are sealed. She'll open them at eighteen, all at once, and meet every version of herself. On this sample you can open the first two. On Noor's real page, every one stays sealed.

Things you said

We keep a note on the fridge. Every new word, every wrong word, every sentence that made us put the spoon down. These are the ones that made it into the letters.

The moon was watching

You arrived at 4:12 in the morning, in the rain. Baba went outside to call Nani and saw the moon through a gap in the clouds. He says it waited for you. Slide through your birthdays to see the moon on every one of them.

Wishes for you

Every birthday, the family each write one wish. They hang here like lanterns until you're eighteen. Tap one to read it.

Your lantern becomes a star in the sky above. On this sample nothing is saved. On a real Baby Webfolio, family wishes go into the box with the letters.
