physiotherapy, one person at a time

Get back to the thing you love doing.

I'm Lena. I see one patient an hour, never three at once, and I'll tell you honestly how many sessions you need. Usually it's fewer than you think.

Three visits, usually.

  1. 1
    60 minutes

    We talk, then we test

An hour to find out what's really going on. You'll leave with two exercises, not twelve.

  2. 2

    Hands-on and a plan

Treatment, plus a short video of your exercises, so you're not guessing at home.

  3. 3
    two to three weeks on

    Check in, then let go

If you're better, we stop. If not, we change the plan. I don't sell packages.

    "One person, one hour."

Stillwater.from the desk of Dr. L. Ortiz

At the big clinics I was seeing three people at once and remembering none of them. So I opened Stillwater. One person, one hour, and I actually know your name. I'd rather you get better and never come back than keep you coming forever.

questions people ask at the desk

    Good questions.

    Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. You can book directly. If your insurance needs one, we'll tell you before your first visit.

    What should I wear?

Something you can move in. Shorts for knees and ankles, a tank top for shoulders. We have a changing room.

    Will it hurt?

Some of it might be uncomfortable, never more than you agree to. You're in charge of the dial.

What if I need to cancel?

Tell us a day ahead and it's fine. Life happens. We'll just offer the slot to the waitlist.
