What we collect
- What you write to us. Your name, email, the domain you want, who you want to impress and the plan you pick, from the letters on this site and the contact note.
- Checkout details. When you pay, Stripe collects your name, email, billing address and phone number. We receive these so we can register your domain, because the domain registry needs an owner contact.
- Referral details. Who referred you, what plan they referred, and the PayPal or Wise email you give us for payouts.
- What you share for your webfolio. Stories, photos and anything else you choose to give your webfolio agent.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments.
- Vercel hosts this site and registers domains, so it receives your domain contact details. Its servers keep standard request logs.
- Our email and CRM provider runs the email inboxes we set up at your domain and, on business plans, your CRM, so it holds the mail and client records you keep there.
- Resend delivers the letters and notes you send us from this site to our inbox.
- The domain registry for your domain receives the owner contact, as every registry requires.
- PayPal or Wise receives your payout email when we send a referral bonus.
- Calendly schedules free intro calls, so it receives the name, email and answers you give when you book one.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site, so your browser asks Google's servers for them.
In your browser
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores a few small things in your own browser: wf-sound remembers whether you turned the sound off, ref remembers a friend's referral link, and look remembers the frame you liked in "Let's paint the picture". The last two are cleared when you close the tab. A photo you add there stays on your device and is never uploaded.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while we're building or looking after your webfolio, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Children
This site isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. A Baby Webfolio holds what parents or family choose to share about a child, sits behind a family passcode, and stays out of search engines unless the parents decide otherwise.

Write to hi@webfolio.live to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Any part of your webfolio can also sit behind a passcode and stay out of search engines.
